Job Description & Responsibilities:
Position Summary:   Group Sales Manager is a key leadership position which assists the General Manager in overseeing operations of multiple stores at San Francisco International Airport. The scope of the responsibilities include merchandise, staffing, expense control, inventory control, procedures that will yield the highest level of profit, service to the customers and maintenance of the Company image. Works with the Merchandising Department to implement merchandise mix and assortment plans. Prepares annual sales and operating budgets in conjunction with the General Manager and strives towards attaining and surpassing budgeted sales goal and shop profit.  Responsibilities:   Key responsibilities of the Group Sales Manager are: 1. Maximizing sales and profits.2. Delivering results at or beyond expectations.3. Leading and developing direct reports.4. Exercising expense control in all facets of the operation.5. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external business partner.6. Assists with coordinating with the Visual Merchandising Department to achieve maximum merchandise visibility consistent with company standards.7. Coordinating efforts with the Loss Prevention Department to minimize inventory shrinkage. Other Qualifications: Global mobility desired 
 
Required Experience:

Education:

College degree or equivalent experience   Work Experience:1. Five years management experience in a leadership role in duty free retailing, specialty or department store. 2. Multiple store experience preferred.

   
 
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong relationship building skills. 5. Strong entrepreneurial skills with ability to compile and analyze statistics for business reports and budget projections.
